Tifa and Stacious speak out

Tifa and Stacious may have placed themselves in the line of fire but they believe it's a risk worth taking, if it will get them the justice they deserve. Both female artistes claim that they were treated with less respect than they deserved by organizers of the recently concluded Reggae Sumfest stage show.

The Dancehall Diva's gave rousing sets during their appearances on Reggae Sumfest's Dancehall Night Thursday July 19th. Despite the positive receptions and feedback they got from fans, both artistes insist that negative vibrations could be felt backstage as the highly regarded Dancehall divas have come forward with allegations of gender discrimination and prejudice following the treatment they received at Reggae Sumfest 2012.

Tifa and Stacious appeared on a television interview voicing their grievances regarding Sumfest while alleging that promoters of the stage show exercised bias throughout the night. According to Tifa, she's done enough in her career to warrant better treatment.

"10 o'clock I go on the stage and I feel like I've earned my place in Reggae/Dancehall, I've earned my time and my spotlight and my shine. I just feel like it was very disrespectful how dem deal wid it, like yuh haffi go pon stage now."

Nuff a di parents a quarrel say dem child get average inna the 70's and 80's and yet dem place dem in non-traditiona high schools.

Mi hear say a likkle girl up by Norbrook get an average of 76% and dem place her a Denham Town High.

The parents dem nuh happy at all. Government need fi come address this because although everybody go school fi learn, there are some things that you don't want your children exposed to.

Some a dem non-traditional high schools really have some terrible pickney a go deh so mi nuh know wha a go happen come September.

The record holder has opted to focus his energies on creating new records on the track, sources in his camp confirmed.

Bolt is competing at the 2012 Olympics in the United Kingdom this summer and cannot afford any distraction at this time, his team added.

Lesbian attack male student on Uwi Campus!!

We have received reports of that a female attacked a male student because she suspected him of sleeping with her 'woman'. According to sources, residents of a particular top Hall at the University Of The West Indies Mona were awaken in the early hours of the morning by banging sounds coming from a particular room on a block/cluster. When they went out to investigate it was found that an angry female (said to be a lesbian) was using a stone to bang on the door of a male resident demanding that he released her partner from his room.

Minutes later the male came out of the room, a tussle ensued and he managed to get the stone from the lesbian. She was not very pleased and as such she left and came back with reinforcements, which came in the form of campus security and some fellow lesbian friends. This time they would have a verbal altercation, during which the police was summoned and both the male and female were taken into a room and questioned.

The police later released them and the female at the centre of the altercation was accompanied to her room by her female lover, the male has decided not to press charges but he was pretty shaken up by the incident.

According to some students these incidents are becoming too frequent and something needs to be done about it ASAP.

Flexxx and Vado at Odds?

Ever since Flexxx released the single Real Gangsta on the Aurora Skies rhythm, rumours have been circulating that it is a diss song aimed at members of the Gully Squad.

While members of the Gully side refused to comment about the matter, Flexxx had no qualms in speaking about the issue. Flexxx, whose real name is Omar Henry, said, He honestly just did a song and if they wish to see it as a diss well that's their business. He further went o to say Chase Cross and Mavado have been saying a lot of things and he is no weak fence, therefore if they seem it fit to throw words then he will do the same.

Flexxx believes that the song 'Action Pack' done by Mavado is aimed at him as well as Chase Cross has been doing songs criticising him. "Dem a say me sell out fi BMW. Mavado sell out everybody round him, a dat dem fi talk bout. Dem nah talk bout the real thing. Di least little thing dem talk bout bad mind."

Flexxx, who is now signed to Hapilos Entertainment, says since he has been signed to the group, his career has taken a turn for the better. He made it clear that Gully Side and Gully Squad has never done anything for him. 'Dem say mi sell out because mi sign to Hapilos, but him sign to We The Best wid DJ Khaled so him sell out to. The two a we sell out den,'

According to Flexxx he does not wish to reconcile with a nayone as he did not sell out anyone and he is good with God and himself so it matters not what anyone else wants to say.

Yardflex has come to understand that the "Fluffy Diva" has recorded a new single with dancehall stars Tifa and Mr. Vegas. She made it clear that she respects all recording artistes and other people's unique abilities, but she is all about 'having fun' at this point.

Miss Kitty further went on to say she is not one of those persons who sees something and say "mi can do it too and just jump een", as she never assumes that she is just as good as they are. She made reference to Comedian Owen Blacka Ellis saying 'even when I do a comedy show, I am nervous as hell because what Blacka Ellis does is incredible.' Rumours that deejay Potential Kidd was arrested on the weekend are untrue. According to Potential Kidd's manager, Angeletta McKenzie, "I've also been hearing that. That's a rumour. I don't know where they got it from. I know he was at the police station doing some business."

Potential shared the same sentiment, stating that he went to the station to handle some business. According to him, he went to the Denham Town Police Station to look about a permit for a party for his mother.

My friend went on an online dating website, and she met this nice young man. Di man tell her say him ready fi settle down and how him have him tings and she nah go haffi work because he will take care of her and all these things.

She and di man start talk good and she give him the key to her house, key to her car, key to her heart. Di mn all introduce her to him Mother and dem get along good good.

Every time she g restaurant wid di man and him mother she realize say when the bill come, the man say him lef him wallet a di yard and di mother say she never carry her purse. Dem style her wicked wicked and she haffi a pay the bill fi the food whe dem come a nyam.

Yaaaaoooooowwwww, a wha really a gwaan between Popcaan and Ryno? Ryno says that Popcaan has copied his style, flow and image. Ryno says he is not looking for a lyrical feud but that everybody can see that Popcaan has copied him from the plaits to the dress code. Ryno say him a di original and Popcaan is a knockoff.

Ryno released a counteraction to Popcaan's "Box Pon Jaw" titled "Gaza Beating Stick". He says that based on the fact that Popcaan has not answered him in a song or in an interview, he believes that Popcaan is scared of him.

Ryno says he is focused on putting out music and setting his foundation because since leaving the Portmore Empire, things have slowed down for him a bit.

Dancehall artiste Mavado is married

Dancehall artiste David Brooks, more popularly known as Mavado recently got married. According to court documents, Mavado married his baby mother Monique Mckenzie in Florida

Mavado and his management team have remained tight lipped about the marriage, but Yardflex has obtained a copy of the marriage license document from the Clerk of the Courts, Broward County, Florida.

The document shows the dates of birth for both Mavado and his wife, their address and the date for the application of the marriage license.
