Ooh Yea
Ooh Yea

Would you believe me if I told you
will you believe me when I say

Affairs of the heart
Together we've grown
If ever apart
All I want you to know
Is your love is life changing
And I couldn't be the same without you darling
Your love is life saving
You always catch me when I fall

When the tour bus drop off and all light lock off
I'm a mere mortal again
Promoter belly full and all the fans gone home
I am glad that you are more than a friend
Woman your love changing
And I couldn't be the same without you darling
Your love is life saving
You always catch me when I fall

Its People just like you and you will pass them in the traffic,
That never fall in love and so me haffi say me lucky
Nuff of them nah fortunate enough to have somebody
some just cannot see beyond the flesh and it's so funny
Never get too caught up in yourself to feel the magic
True love come and pass you by your life that is so tragic
Oportunity yuh s'posed to take it while you have it, no wait till you a panic

Well the last man you deh wid make a big mistake, left and gone fi good and miss out something weh great
Loyal and full of faith when enough of them a move fake
our things separate we can't separate

Cuz i would miss you baby and i cant do without you darling
yes and I would miss you baby, girl you know i love you bad

Affairs of the heart
Together we've grown
If things fall apart
All I want you to know
Woman your love is life changing
And I wouldn't be the same without you darling
Your love is life saving
You always catch me when I fall

(Guitar)

When I'm away is like my songs are waste cause you are not near to hear me
If I lost my way I d know I'd be ok cause you'd be there to care me
And woman I can see things clearly
You genuine because your love sincerely
You never let me down not even nearly
Not even barely girl you know I love you bad

Some see the laughter and don't see the tears
Some see the courage and don't see the fear
Some for themselves and they don't intend to share
Some say I love and only pretend to care
Well nuff of them are just miss congeniality
Dem pretty face an dem nah face reality
Well them are quantity Woman you're quality girl you know I love you bad

Affairs of the heart
Together we've grown
If ever apart
All I want you to know
Is your love is life changing
And I couldn't be the same without you dahling
Your love is life saving
you always catch me when I fall

Big up to the Chin sisters

We have to ... MUST... could not make another day pass and we don't send a special shout out to the Chin sisters, Rosie and Shantelle. We spy them over Wyndham on Saturday and from all indications, them ready to run road and hot up entertainer and athlete head again. But one thing we are please asking the two of you, Don't breed again. We know this sounds coarse and vulgar, but we really can't put it any other way. You each have a child now, so please, in the midst of the partying, remember to spend some quality time with the kids. Whatever you do now, will have an impact on that child's life. We have nothing more to say.

With the closure of the Mas Camp on Oxford Road scheduled to take place in another two weeks, several staple events will have to find new homes. There has been talk of closure from as far back as 2006, but year after the year the New Kingston venue remained open. It has, however, been reported that the venue owned by the Butch Stewart-owned ATL group will soon make way for a new hotel. A report carried in The Star stated that Gyete Ghartey, promoter of Mello Vibes and Yesterday, said he got the daunting call in October. "Going forward we have to find another venue, a venue that is accessible. Mas Camp had everything. It was quite central, you had parking and it wasn't so much in a residential area," he told THE STAR. With Mello Vibes being held at Mas Camp for the final time on the weekend, Ghartey said it will be a difficult task to find another venue that has similar characteristics. Nonetheless, he said the next staging of Yesterday will be on November 19 at Sugarman's Beach in Portmore. After that event, Ghartey said, it will be hard to find a venue for the December staging. Daunting for Ghartey, but Michael Ammar Jr, organiser of Bacchanal Jamaica, said his group has been preparing since becoming aware of the closure early this year. "From the last carnival we knew it was closing. It won't affect us, we will have a new 'Mas Camp'," he said. Ammar said they are well advanced with their plans for a new venue, but as for the details, he was tight-lipped. This new location, he said, might even improve the event. As for other events that were staged at Mas Camp, Ammar said "it's going to affect a lot of the independent operators that rent Mas Camp." Therefore, "we are trying to choose a venue that will be suitable for use by other people," he said, noting that one more event will he held at Mas Camp before it closes. Ghartey and Ammar are not alone with their views, as Jerome Hamilton a representative of Heineken Good Times, shares similar sentiments. "I think it is going to hurt Good Times as well as other events that were held there. It is going to create a void and I am not sure how we are going to fill that. It's a big blow to the industry," he told THE STAR, describing Mas Camp as a convenient location.

miss kitty.jpg

Ever since news surfaced a few weeks ago that popular radio and television personality, Khadine Hylton,
more popularly known as Miss Kitty, had written a salacious novel, the streets have been buzzing, and
questions flying  -   what does Miss Kitty have to say now, and who, if anyone, is she taking aim at, or
unmasking in this novel?
Well come Thursday evening, the curious  may very well get their answers with the launch of the highly
anticipated debut novel, with a title that adds to the intrigue, 'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD'.
Set to take place on the grounds of Bookophilia, located at 92 Hope Road in Kingston, the launch of Miss Kitty's debut literary effort is already
gearing up to be an event for the
books - no pun intended.
"The response and expectation has
been phenomenal," explains
Pageturner's Karl Larmond.
"Let's just say it's been a real
receptive presentation so far. All
our distributors are excited
about this publication,  so much
that some have literally made
shelf space for the arrival of
'Good Girl Gone Bad' in a few days."
'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD' highlights the sensitive subject of a miscarriage in a once flourishing relationship, but
one that's soon on life-support with the tragic twist of fate. And like they say, when it rains, it pours, but you
will have to read it to get the gist and twist of the story.
Set to commence at 6:30 pm, the launch of 'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD' is already sounding like a stellar occasion,
with participation from a wide cross section of society's luminaries and celebrities, from the likes of opening
prayer by Tommy Cowan, and readings from the likes of Yendi Phillips, Oliver Samuels, Professor Donna Hope,
ace Disc Jock Kurt Riley, and also an address from Mrs. Valrie Francis from The Jamaica National Library, just to
name a few.
'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD' will be available at all Sangsters Book Stores, all Kingston Book Shops and wherever
books are sold across the island. Fans can also catch Miss Kitty at any one of the over twenty island-wide
signings already in the final planning stages.
GOOD GIRL GONE BAD in stores November 4th 2011.

The latest film by Jamaican director, Chris Brown, is coming out in cinemas across the country on 2nd December. The film, whose Executive Producer is ex-World Heavyweight boxing champion, Lennox Lewis, is set in a suburb of Kingston, where each ghetto is under garrison law and run by gun toting gangs under the leadership of ruthless Mafia style 'dons'. Derrick is a talented boxer with a dream of representing his country at the Olympics but the best trainer and gym are in the no-go next door neighbourhood. Although he knows the risks, Derrick decides to 'cross over' in order to pursue his dreams but in doing so puts the lives of those he loves in mortal danger. This is a gritty, shocking, engrossing and ultimately uplifting story of the triumph of human spirit and hope. There's also a superb soundtrack featuring a mix of reggae and dancehall.
