Damian Marley celebrates Welcome To Jamrock!

Damian "Jr Gong" Marley will perform at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square (corner of 14th and Broadway) at 11pm on Monday, September 12. This will be an exclusive NYC performance followed by a midnight signing to celebrate the release of his new album, Welcome to Jamrock.

Arrive early, the first 175 attendees are guaranteed admission to the show. Purchase of the album is required to attend the signing.

Damian's latest single is said to be "creating mayhem" around the globe, with his "monster hit" Welcome To Jamrock. So to herald the release of the album, Welcome To Jamrock, the artistic mastermind, will host his "invitation-only" album release party this Friday, September 9 at the Bob Marley Museum. His third album features various artistes such as Stephen Marley, Bounty Killer, Eek-A-Mouse, Bobby Brown, Black Thought and Nas,

I know the album will be a hit. I love the song and look forward to hearing the rest of the album. I will make sure I buy it on release day, so think about me on Tuesday because I'm thinking about you. Love you!!

Love the cd, esp. track There For Me. Overall I love all the songs except Brown on the track just looses the flow. Voice is not needed even though it was a collaboration of sorts, it does not add to the rhythm of Jr. Gong. Peace
