Being one of dancehall's new sensations, it was no surprised that music would become a big part of her life. As Like most successful entertainers, she honed her skill by performing for friends and family and held her notes on the school choir. As she got older, Angel drifted from music and entered the glamorous world of fashion as a model (Pulse). The lights, camera, action and exotic locations weren't enough to keep her away from the heavy baseline and pulsating rhythms of dancehall music.

Angel made her return to her true passion when she became the sole female member of the short-lived 'Lord of Yard' (L.O.Y) group in 2001. After the group disbanded, she re-immersed herself in the fashion industry not only as a model but a connoisseur of fashion on her own right. By the year 2002, her clothing store titled Angel's Fashion was opened for business.

The dream of becoming a successful singer and DJ wasn't completely thrown out the window. While running her business, Angel made time for studio sessions. Her first solo effort "Hottie Girls" was produced by Kevin Blake and released in 2004. Cordel "Scatta" Burrell produced her follow up single "Blow". She kept the momentum going with collaboration with Jah Mason.

In 2005, Angel decided to take on the dance hall scene full throttle, under the banner of her label Champagne International Records. Her single "Livin' Uptown", which tells the tale of a downtown girl who hasn't lost her 'realness' despite a change of address, was a huge hit, After several months of heavy rotation in the dancehall and on the airwaves, she then later teamed up with Tanya Stevens for a remix!

There's so much to expect from Angel in the near future, but right now, her main focus is to produce as much hit singles as possible while working towards a full-length album capable of crossing all international borders.
