A wha really guh dung wid Mavado and VP Records? Yeah man dem part ways but apart from dat wi nuh know nutten more. VP exec confirm di split but she neva come out and a what a di cause.

Him did have a three year album deal wid dem, but from what wi gather, him nuh have fi do nutten more even dough a ongle two him duh.

But whey wi waan know is how Mavado manage fi get whey out of di deal and nuff artistes always have trouble fi come out – even when dem dissatisfied wid di arrangement.

boy all i can say is he is one lucky fellow i would love a word with him to get my artiste out of their clutches too because is only hold them hold back artiste career and them still nuh have a clue after so many years. Is that must happen to vp them run go jump pon bandwagon as usual and when good conscious artiste deh pan them roster and want a little promotion them stifle them, is that must happen to them i would love them to go down fully because they dont have a clue and they dont want to even try!!!They must get run out of thisw business a full time now.

Getting released from your label is another way to say you got dropped.

How come Serani and BeenieMan got dropped and Movado got released ?

if you do not perform, you get drop. Simple

common sense, read between the lines. The answer is so simple.

@ bigg u have a point but consider this, vp have a monopoly over reggae distribution and they also have rights to the artistes music, which means anytime them feel like they can put out a " best of mavado" album without mavado permission or mavado getting a dollar from that. Reggae artistes need to be independent minded first and stop depend on vp fi distibute their music

VP DOSENT MARKET THIER ARTIST. THEY ONY PROMOTE AND INVEST IN THIER OWN PRODUCT COMPILATIONS LIKE STRICTLY THE BEST & REGGAE GOLD... LOOK AT HOW MANY GOOD ARTIST HAVE ALBUMS OUT ON VP WITH POOR ALBUM SALES 1.WARRIOR KING 2. JR. KELLY 3. I WAYNE 4. ASSASSIN 5. DAVILLE THE LIST GOES ON & ON... LEAVING VP RECORDS WAS THE BEST MOVE MAVAO COULD HAVE MADE...
