Sounding off!!! Mavado and Kartel turn BFF

For those of you who are not text message savvy, BFF means Best Friends Forever.
And that’s what it looks like from here. All of a sudden former arch rivals Vybz Kartel and Mavado are touching each other, shaking hands and smiling at each other … even laughing at each other’s jokes. All in an effort to demonstrate that they are chums .. friends … BBF’s.
But all this happens when the cameras are focused on them and they know that the world is watching. But what will it be like when there are no cameras and each of them returns to their natural habitat – whether it is the Gullyside or the Gaza?
Will they be ringing off each other’s cellies as they want to keep the talk and the peace process active. Will Gaza supporters start listening to songs by Mavado and vice versa? Will they be seen hanging out together backstage at the various shows on which they are both billed?
And where exactly does Alliance CEO Bounty Killer stand in all of this? And Ambassador Usain Bolt? Will he include some Gully songs on his iPod, and not just Empire tunes as he was reported as saying recently in the media?
Remember that this peace thing has happened before when Kartel and Mavado met in 2007 with Mark Shields.
This time around, after meeting with three government ministers and the Herro Blair from the Peace Management Initiative, we are hearing about painting out graffiti (they should ask LA Lewis to assist with this chore), recording a song together, T-shirts with both their images and … oh yes.. a peace concert.
It would be truly wonderful if this time around the peace would last.

I hope bounty killa take his mouth out of this , movado want the peace but bounty killa is a bad influence, he is going to try to make movado hate on kartel, , the problem is not between kartel and movado, the problem is bounty killa. If am wrong, people let me know but on the real i like the peace but if bounty and kartel still a war , bounty killa is going to either influence movado to start back the fighting or movado and bounty killa have to part ways.
Any way lets see the out come, {salt spring wi say} megy top, bucktoe lane large

Peace is a good thing, remember some fans are illiterate and take things to another level, black people cant be rivals musically without violence, history has proved that, even the earlier bounty / beenie musical rivalry, there was not much violence, now both artists can concentrate on performing good music, all the diss tracks were a waste of time ( garbage)both are talented performers, especially kartel, now he can get back to producing good lyrical tunes everyone has known him for, remember the fans will rate you on how many classics tracks you produce and not how many diss tracks you performed
To get to the Bounty / beenie legendary status, you need hundred of classic tunes

This is a good example they are setting. Forget whether or not it is a publicity stunt. Others can follow including those on here promoting the violence and foolishness. At least they are trying, you do the same.
