Member of Parliament Sharon Hay-Webster’s dad Lloyd Hay is in hospital after being robbed of money and his licensed firearm on Monday.
According to police reports at about 12:30, Hay, 82, had just locked up his business place in Guy's Hill, St Catherine, and went home. There, he was pounced upon by men who beat him severely and took the firearm and an undetermined sum of money from him. .
The Guy's Hill police said they have not identified any suspects; however, their investigations continue.
