Too many people dying on the road

By Rootzgirl
My heart nearly broke on Saturday, while reading about the accident along the Whitehouse main road in Westmoreland on Friday. He was celebrating his birthday and making big plans for a birthday party. The accident happened about 5:30 pm according to the police. His blue Lexus (Altezza) was travelling from the Farm district direction towards Whitehouse when the driver lost control and hit a coaster bus before colliding with a white delivery truck. Police said that all three men in the car died on the spot.
According to the Star one witness was reported as saying the accident as nothing he has ever seen. "The car is crumbled beyond recognition believe me one of the men in the car, his head got chopped off to how the accident bad. This is the worse," the man said. "I saw it from the beginning, Mackie (the driver) drove passed the bar and as he looked across his eyes and mine made 'four' then the car was like something from Tokyo Drift
The sad thing about it all is that instead of a happy birthday celebration three families are now in mourning.
The road death clock is ticking away and no one is taking note. Drivers are still being careless, they somehow think that they will be the lucky ones to speed and take chances and escape.
Yardflex would like to take the opportunity to warn motorists to be careful. Speed indeed kills.
The government is spending so much money in road safety campaign and it’s not even registering on these drivers.
Passengers, whether you are in a public transport vehicle or a friend is giving you a lift…do not allow them to be careless with it.
