Bogle’s brother wants asylum in the UK

Reports out of the United Kingdom (UK) say the brother of slain Jamaican entertainer Gerald Levy, more popularly known as Bogle, has told immigration officials there that he fears he will lose his life if he is deported to Jamaica.
The Birmingham Mail says Lennox Russell failed in his application for asylum in the UK and has revealed he was the subject of death threats following the murder of his brother.
In 2005, Mr. Levy was gunned down with four others by two men as they stopped in a Kingston gas station.
Lennox Russell has been living in the UK for 12 years and married a British national.
However, immigration officials have now deemed that he is safe to travel and ordered him home claiming he is not at risk in his homeland.
The 40 year-old, who has three children in the UK, says he would rather die in Britain than in Jamaica.
The newspaper says Gail Adams, the UK Border Agency's Regional Director, has suggested that Mr. Russell has the right to return to Jamaica and apply for permission to live in the UK as the married partner of a British national.
