I choose to forgive, and I am at peace.

When I consider what I value in life, I realize the importance of inner peace. Jesus taught forgiveness throughout His ministry. He knew that peace cannot be expressed in an angry heart.

Whenever I feel resentment, I choose to forgive. I forgive myself, knowing that at any given time, I am doing the best I can. I immerse myself in love for myself and others, because love transforms every hurt. As I love and forgive, I feel my burdens lift.

I open myself to God's unconditional love and extend God's love to others. I accept forgiveness.

Peace is what I want, and forgiveness is the way. I accept what is and live in peace.

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you."--Ephesians 4:32.Inspired by this message? Want to talk to friends about it? Share your thoughts here.Search past Daily Word messages by date, topic or keyword. Visit the archive.
