Nelson Hospitalized
Senator Dwight Nelson, National Security Minister is in hospital as doctors try to determine the cause of severe abdominal pains.
Senator Nelson started having the pains Tuesday night and was taken to the hospital by Dr. Denise Eldemire-Shearer, his personal physician.
According to RJR news Gillian Haughton, Director of Communications in the ministry told them the Minister is resting comfortably and remains in high spirits.
Meanwhile, Daryl Vaz, Information Minister confirmed that the Senator Nelson is undergoing a battery of tests.
"It's too early to say about his diagnosis but tests are being done and the country will be kept abreast of any developments. The Government and Cabinet wish his a speedy recovery," he said.
