Buju woes continues

We really don’t know what to believe…one minute we getting reports that Buju’s show is successful and enjoying some mad crazy turnout…and next comes news like this one that his shows in Eureka and Los Angeles have been cancelled and he is now facing dwindling options.

Honestly, I think they should just back off now and allow the gargamel to go through with his tour. Surely there ought to be enough patrons and promoters on his side to make it work?

What do you all think?

buju is a great artist, his music is lyrically conscious so he dont need to beg people to come and attend his shows. i am sure that his promoters can counter them hateful people and their morally flawed propaganda. its about time people who believe in the norms and cultures that promote common decency to stand up for buju. if we all keep quite and let this go on then we shall be looking on as gay rights activists kill the careers of some of the most gifted artists of all time because that's what buju is. quite frankly i think buju banton besides garnet silk is to this generation what bob marley was to the pioneer reggae generation. i wish buju would come more to africa where his music has earned him a cult status stardom, then maybe he wouldnt have to worry about them faggots trying to ruin his music career.

I know whats going on. I live in the states. So there is a show coming in my city at a big venue. so the gays protested that if buju is allowed to perform they will boycott the venue. What you are not being told is that all bujus shows are practically cancelled. But they go through word of mouth at other venues so is not so public for the gay community to find out. The show in columbus, ohio was like that and it was so much in demand buju performed two shows a friday and a sat. Man am mad because i hear talks that the gay community is trying to have reggae music or dancehall banned in the state or city because is hate music. If that go through i will be really angry at buju because there are alot of great reggae music that come through our city.

People reap what they sow. Everyone is looking at this as an an Anti-Gay issue. Buju does not support his children. Buju does not help others. Buju uses anyone that is unassuming. He treated Lorna terribly. Both physical and mental abuse. He used the mother of his child that lives in NY. He's married to one lady now yet lives with another. He demands bikes and cars and an exhorbitant fee from people just to do studio work or a walk-thru at an event. It's all coming back to him now. Retribution. Sometimes we all focus on what seems to be the problem. It is never skin deep. Buju will always have personal problems because he is a self-centered Rasta look-a-like.
