Good news for Cash Plus investors
There’s good news for Cash Plus investors as it seems that there is finally a silver lining on te cloud. Depositors could be getting back some money invested in the failed investment scheme following the discovery of US$25 million dollars stashed away in a Dubai bank account by former Cash Plus boss, Carlos Hill.
After vigorously denying to that he didn’t have any money invested outside of the country the discovery was made one week later.
According to Cash Plus Liquidator Hugh Wildman, who made the disclosure at a press briefing at his office on Monday told journalists that his office recently served an injunction against Swiss Bank Julius Baer in Dubai requesting the freezing of assets after receiving crucial intelligence information on the moneys whereabouts.
Well for the investors sake we hope that even more money is fished out!.
