Luciano Makes his Return at Reeewind

Reggae’s self-proclaimed Messenger, Luciano, makes his long-awaited, triumphant return to the Tri-state area when he appears on Irish and Chin’s Reeewind on Saturday, October 3.

The powerful Reggae singer will perform on the one-and-only King Stur Gav sound with a host of top artistes. Although Luciano boasts flawless vocals and a massive catalogue of cultural music, at "Reeewind," he will face his biggest challenge with no band to back him.

While the "Rub-a-dub" theme of "Reeewind" directly complements Luciano's music and essence, he will have to prove himself as the only singer slated for the event. So that Luciano's baritone infused lyrics don't get overwhelmed by the contingency of deejays billed for the session, the cultural vocalist will be required to command the mic.

In addition to being caught between the likes of Beenie Man and Capleton, who have rivaled for decades, Luciano will have to shine among the veteran Deejays. It's no secret that U-Roy, Brigadier Jerry, Charlie Chaplin and General Trees are masters of the "Rub-a-dub" era. So, the pressure is on for "The Messenger" to flow continuously through out the night.

But one must note that Irish and Chin handpicked Luciano for "Reeewind" because of his caliber, vocal strength and catalogue. And to top these attributes -- Luciano can ride any riddim impeccably. With this in mind, Luciano could very well overcome obstacles at "Reeewind." With a massive fan base behind him during this epic return, Luciano just may come out the night's biggest success. Luciano has performed on King Stur Gav in the past and the reviews were unbelievable. Most expect nothing less than that this time around. Although "Reeewind" is not a competition, the artists will have to prove their worth!
