Etana Managed by Irish and Chin
Conscious reggae singer, Etana has signed a management deal with Irish and Chin and is now being booked exclusively by Headline Entertainment.
The deal with Irish and Chin — known for their expert management of sound system ‘Far East Rulers’ Mighty Crown — was signed two weeks ago,They confirmed.
Garfield ‘Chin’ Bourne disclosed that his entity has been in discussions with Etana for sometime now, and says he is eagerly anticipating working with this act.
Chin, who is especially strong in the European and Japanese markets, says his plan is to position this conscious artiste in Europe Africa and North America. He states that he is “impressed with her talent and her dedication to her craft.”
Etana, who had previously been signed to the Sharon Burke-led Solid Agency, had indicated earlier this year that she intended to modify her management structure. It was reported that Solid Agency’s role had been diminished as they had moved from managing her career, to doing only the bookings.
Now, the bookings are being handled exclusively by Headline Entertainment.
Etana, who emerged on the scene in an impressive way two years ago, has scored with hits such as Wrong Address and Roots. Her debut album The Strong One received many accolades and earned her Album of the Year last year.
