Today's Daily Word - Wednesday, September 16, 2009
Rest
Aware of the Christ within, I am at peace.
While there may be much to do today, I take a few moments to rest in the awareness of the Christ Spirit within that encourages and strengthens me. As a spiritual leader, Jesus often invited others to rest and release any heavy burden so they could experience the peace of God.
My divine nature, the Christ of my soul, is always available to relieve my burdens and bring me peace. Turning inward, I breathe deeply and release any worries that may be on my mind.
The Christ presence within guides me and helps me to grow and learn. Any sense of feeling overwhelmed is gone. I am refreshed, focused and prepared to do what is mine to do.
