RIP Steelie

images.jpgYardflex would like to offer our condolence to the family and friends of Steelie (one half of the duo Steelie and Clevie). He has been a pioneer in the reggae music business and all of those who worked with him over the years can attest to his professionalism. Steelie passed away in a Long Island hospital earlier today (Tuesday)
Rest in peace Steelie

Thank you Steely for al the contributions that you made to reggae music. In my teenage years and beyond your music empowered me when I felt low. Sometimes people think mainly about the lead artists (Shabba, Admiral, Nitty Gritty etc.) and they don't realise that without the producer, the artist is nothing. Your legacy is remembered in the UK especially for the track 'No No No' by Dawn Penn.

May Jehovah God bless your family and friends at this time of grief.
