People , forget not that there is a difference between Clashing on stage and singing songs in a studio. Kartel is a Studio badman lyrically talented as he is , he struggled with Movado on stage last Year.
Clash is about delivery and not about who wrote your lyrics etc... You don't need a recent hit to win a clash , if you study past clashes you will bear testimony to this... If in doubt a good example is Merciless who last produced a hit in 19 0 long but has always found a way of causing commotion in clashes up until not so long ago.
The point I'm making is that a clash is not about how much lyrics u have it's about how well u deliver on the day.Bounty has been off the mark for a while now , but don't underestimate his arsenal of yester year War tunes , which have remained anthems in sound clashes for close to 2 decades. No matter how old his tunes are they will still remain effective and devastating.
