Laden, who is known for his hit single Time to Shine case did not start as was expected yesterday (Tuesday) in the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrate's Court.
The matter could not be heard as the artiste is presently on tour and his attorneys asked for a postponement.
The situation was further compounded by the absence of a Justice of the Peace for the sitting of the Petty Sessions Court.
Laden was slapped with charges of disorderly conduct and using indecent language following an incident on May 27.
It is reported that a police sergeant was chiding a teenager in uniform, who was in the company of a group of men, beyond school hours.
Mr. Aaron allegedly intervened and verbally abused the policeman claiming the girl was his sister and the men were his friends.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
