This state of the art and one-of-a-kind 21st century multi-musical entertainments center and children's museum was opened on December 5th 2008 in downtown Los Angeles, California. 'L.A.-Live' consists of the most modern technological entertainments facilities, Club Nokia and The Grammy Museum. Here on June 6th 2009 Club Nokia and The Grammy Museum teamed up to present an educational experience with Reggae music Grammy's multi-winner Ziggy Marley.
With the release of Ziggy Marley's "Family Time" CD, Marley entertained children from all walks of life with the showcase " What is Reggae" which gave youths age 5 years and up a hands-on interaction with the artists and entertainers. Opening for the son of The Crowned King of Reggae The Honorable Robert Nesta 'Bob" Marley, O. D., were "Rhythm Child", local entertainers who interact children and parents in music through free form drumming while performing many of their award winning children songs. The Grammy Museum will continue to host other grammy winning artists from over 200 genres at this venue.
