Today's Daily Word - Monday, June 1, 2009
Breathe
Each breath of life renews and energizes me.
I become centered now, completely at ease and comfortable with myself and with being myself.
With each breath I take in, I feel more at peace. A calm comes over me as I affirm with ease and assurance: I am in the presence of God now and always.
As I exhale, I remember moments of experiencing great relief emotionally and physically. There may have been times when I sighed "Thank You, God!" With that fullness of release, I now exhale. I release all concerns, knowing I am turning all over to God.
Each breath I take rejuvenates me, nourishing me with strength and resilience. As I breathe in rhythm with God-life, I am renewed and energized.
"Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being."--Genesis 2:7
