What the hell is happening in our schools
What in blazes is happening in the institutions where the young ones should be learning good morals and getting a useful skill for life.
Mercy, I cringed in disgust after reading an article in the Star regarding the disgraceful behaviour of a female teacher at the institution who bent over and spread her buttocks in an act of disrespect to the principal.
Now what I want to ask is, if these are the people charged with the responsibilities of teaching our students, what does that say about the education system?
According to the report in the Star the incident has left many at the school outraged at the very nerve of the teacher, whom term as "ghetto fabulous".
"She nuh ave nuh manners, nuh nuttin," one person said. "Yuh tell her morning and she not even responds. She won't even dress appropriately for work. She come here dressed in rubber flip-flop, tight colourful pants, tight blouse that sometimes shows her belly. Plus, she wears the most ghetto weaves every day." The source continued: "The principal even tried going to classroom recently to carry out an assessment exercise and she shut the classroom door, locking out the principal."
We at Yardflex would hope that the powers that be will look into this situation and ensure that this woman never be allowed to teach at another school.
Why should she benefit from our hard earned tax dollars just so she can flaunt and behave in any way she wants. It is time the government hold those who paid to be good examples for their charges accountable for their actions.
It is a crying shame...teachers ought to do better than that.
