In God, I am complete--spirit, mind, and body.
20090501.jpgI appreciate that there are wonders of nature that satisfy my senses so completely. For instance, the sweet aroma of the lilac bush greets me even before I come near it. Lavender-blue clusters invite me to take a closer look and touch the velvety soft blossoms, which are a beauty that I know will last for only a short time.
It is prayer, however, that offers me a completeness that moves me past what my senses offer me. In prayer I am fully in the presence of God. I sense the Holy Presence within and around me with every fiber of my being. I feel the sacredness of my oneness with God and all creation.
I understand that in God I am complete--spirit, mind, and body. I am a whole and holy being. I continue to be blessed by this awareness as I keep it active throughout the day.
"While we, for our part, will devote ourselves to prayer and to serving the word."--Acts 6:4
