“Genuine Gold”
Lloyd Parks & We the People are currently engaged in a race to preserve the life of a young man who is desperately ill and needs immediate heart surgery.
Due to the exorbitant cost of this surgery, some Artistes have joined forces with Lloyd giving their services free to stage a Concert.
Dubbed “Genuine Gold”, the concert will be held at Mas Camp on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Gates open at 7 p.m and Showtime is 9 p.m.
The featured Artistes are Lloyd Parks & We the People, Freddie McGregor, Gregory Isaacs, Ken Boothe, The Mighty Diamonds, Taurus Riley, Queen Ifrika, The Tamlins, Prodigal Son, Left Side, Pam Hall, Trinity, Lovindeer, Niki Dillon and Elijah. Emcees are Empress and Junior Sinclair.
Starlight is providing the Stage and Light and DJ Squeeze the Sound. CVM TV, Kool FM, Beaumont Car Rentals, Tommy Cowan, Xpresst Concepts, Sign Channel, Golden Promotions and Megajamz have already come on board to support this venture.
We are appealing to all people of good will to come out and support this worthy cause.
