Ganja granny enters guilty plea
An elderly Canadian woman who claims to be homeless entered a guilty plea to attempting to export 8lbs of ganja from the island when she was brought to the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
The police informed that when 71-year-old Margueritta Lancaster-Reid luggage was searched at the Sangster International Airport on March 28 and the ganja found, she said, “sir it was not ganja, it's herbs".
