Cash Plus Assets awaiting court decision
Failed alternative investment scheme Cash Plus’ liquidator is awaiting word from the courts to begin the sale of the company's assets.
This could mean good news for Cash Plus investors who have been waiting more than a year for word on their investments.
Trustee in Bankruptcy
, Hugh Wildman, who is also the liquidator of Cash Plus, says a number of the company's assets are slated to be sold.
"We have some matters in the court which we're awaiting judgement on but once we get judgement on those matters, we expect that we'll be able to sell some of these assets and realize the proceeds on behalf of the depositors," Mr. Wildman said.
Last year, the Supreme Court gave the green light for Cash Plus to be wound up.
This occurred despite efforts by former head of the company, Carlos Hill, to regain control.
