CA$7.75m of cocaine, ganja from Jamaica were seized by Canadian Officials

cocaine_bricks_scorpion_logo.jpgCA$ 7.75 million worth of illegal drugs were found on flights which flew out of Jamaica on March 13. They were seized at the Pearson International Airport in Toronto. CANADIAN Border Services yesterday said they believe the drugs were set to end up in the hands of organized criminal networks based in that country.

According to reports from Canada Border Services Agency the drugs, a kilogram of cocaine along with marijuana, hashish and hash oil, were found by a trained sniffer dog.

Its was stated by the officials that they could not say for sure if the organized criminal gangs for which the drugs were intended, were Jamaican.
