I really don't know the facts in this story but it just goes to show how the Dj's and singers support these heartless criminals. It just piss me off when they sing the murder anthems and then get on the air and say "its just for fun". How can bigging up gangs and men that insanely murder people be fun. How do they think the people in the gangs feel. Then they blame the movies. Like they want to make the music like or worse than the movies. They know exactly what they are doing when they sing these songs. Its not about fun. many of them have the murderers watching their backs. People are dying everyday like animals. In your opinion its not your music doing it but don't yu have a conscience. why yu wanna sing song telling people to murder each other when so much killing is already taking place all around you. I heard a stuuupid dj on the jalive recently saying jamaica was ok, that its not as bad as back in the days in the Roman Empire. How much more stupid can some of these dj's be. dumb, He claimed that it wasn't so bad after all people were just blowing thing out of proportion.

Further more JAMIN just cool man a hear yuh still but, jamaica isn't as bad as haiti or t&t.....the music is simply a reflection of a life style if a man hang around concious people his music reflects that hang round rasta yuh music set a certain way if yuh have nuff gun man friend yuh done know how di ting a go...the same energy you put towards fighting the music use it to confront the government who can make the situation so much better by being more responsible in their efforts to run the country...

I believe that the movies have more of an impact on peoples behaviour than music.thats why dem far east people see tings different cause their tv show everything when it come death and destruction with no regard for children watching that is brain washing visually, it has a massive impact....

Luci has poored his heart and soul into conscious reggae music. One thing for sure is that he has reached thousands of souls in a positve way through his music. The media can keep on mixing his name up with violence, but they can't change the good works that have already been done. I agree with Keira on the fact that many entertainers have to have some heat around them in order to keep the fire away. Papa Luci could very well be a babylon victim in this situation.
