Chris Brown banned

chris brown.jpgChris Brown has more to deal with than just facing a felony charge and $50,000 bail after the alleged attack on his girlfriend, Rihanna on February 8.

He now has to deal with the effects his abusive actions have had on his career, as his music has been banned on radio stations in Barbados, Rihanna's island home, as well as other radio stations globally.

His Doublemint gum commercial has also been suspended pending the outcome of the charges. The Body By Milk campaign has also pulled his "Got Milk" advertisement.

Rihanna has had to cancel two concert performances in Indonesia and Malaysia scheduled for February 12 and 13 respectively as she is sporting bruises, a black eye and a split lip.

Obama signs Stimulus Bill

US President Barack Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus plan is his first big victory since taking office a month ago. The plan which includes government spending and tax cuts which is intended to help push the US economy out of recession was signed into law yesterday at a ceremony in Denver, Colorado.

The President said that the tax cuts and domestic spending will create millions of jobs and spur economic growth.

White House senior adviser David Axelrod cautioned that while there will be quick signs of change it will be next year before improvements show up in government reports.

Chief economist Mark Zandi said that the plan will make a difference as it is a good plan that will help the economy.

Its interesting that after years of chastising Fidel Castro for being socialist, America turns around and elects a leader whose policies are drenched in socialism....

As for them banning Chris Brown's music it makes no sense, I do agree that no fight should result in extreme physical damage, but hell it was a fight... some media outlets are making it sound as if he just beat her up, they were fighting, somebody gotta sport bruises... he's young and celebrity or not, he's human and allowed to make mistakes hopefully he learns.... they're making Rihanna out to be some saint, she was a party to the fight, why aren't they making a hooray about injuries Chris may have gotten? Women get much worse injuries and not even half the attention just because she's a celebrity doesn't make her any different.... I'm a fan of both and wish her a safe recovery and wish him all the best in hie career!!

Republican BG. Do you have a better solution for the problem di man inherit. Fox news BG stop critise unless you have a better solution.

what does electing Mr. Obama has to do with this? the banning of the music was done in Rihanna island out of respect and support for her and as of the endorsements that was pulled from him, these companies dont need any abuser to be the face of their product. are you kidding me, if you have a product you need to sell would you use someone that have one of the worse negative look to in the business right now to represent it.

A wonder if BG listen to President Obama Speach Tuesday Night. I am calling you out because you are one of the haters and crab that continue to keep tearing down di man. Everything about you is negative such energy should be used contructively. There were things said in his speech that made a lot of sense which obviously we may not see the benefits now but surely later on in the years to come. Men and women like president Obama will always succeed because of haters like you. I believe he is a man of could character, smart, intelligent and knows how to make meaningful decisions. Some may not like him, but in the end you will surely respect him.
