K-Salaam & Beatnick give musical offering

K-Salaam & Beatnick.jpgK-Salaam & Beatnick came on the scene running with their July 2008 album/DVD release titled, “Whose World Is This” – on the VP Records label. The Minneapolis based dynamic producing team have managed to raise themselves to a higher ground in reggae music and as such they’ve acquired a devoted and enormous fan base.

Giving their listeners what they want is a hard and fast philosophy of the duo whose classic debut compilation album that features tracks with Kardinal Offishall, Young Buck, Buju Banton, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Sizzla, Trey Songz and more, will be followed up shortly by a complimentary album, “The Common Remix – ‘S.T.O.R.Y.’ (Stories Told Over Remixed Years”), a collection of classic Common songs remixed with the hottest new production team's innovative style.

It has been hard work since topping the charts, with K-Salaam and Beatnick hosting and being DJ at many major shows around the world. Spinning and scratching alongside artists like, Tony Youch, Just Blaze, Kardinal Offishall, DJ-Scratch, Q-Tip, The Machine and EPMD, K-Salaam has been blowing up huge events while his multi-talented other creative half, Beatnick, consistently churns out amazing productions.

Their free musical offering is just one small example of current endeavors, as the duo presently have projects on the burner with Lil Wayne, Young Buck, Pharoah Monch and Collie Buddz.
