One man shot dead outside of JLP Conference
Labor Party (JLP) was holding their 65th annual conference.
Reports state that before the AGM started, some shooting erupted just outside the arena, that ended up resulting in the killing of one man and wounding of two others who are in hospital now battling for their lives.
While no reports have been filed as to the possible motive for the fatal shooting, the Prime Minister and leader of the JLP said investigations will be thorough.
Reggae Boyz set for one of the most crucial games this year
Jamaica is set to play Canada this week on Wednesday, November 19, in what has been termed a must win game.
It is a most important game for the Reggae Boyz, since winning this FIFA World Cup CONCACAF Qualifier will set them further in line for 2010 and the World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Reggae Boyz are being challenged to not only win, but to beat the Canadians by 3 clear goals.

Teacher pleads guilty to theft
On December 15 Tasty Shaw will learn her fate as she has been ordered to return then for sentencing by Resident Magistrate Glen Brown who heard of the bizarre circumstances that saw her rob her colleague.
A teacher by profession, Shaw pleaded guilty to the charges of stealing $10,000 from her co-worker’s purse. She reportedly yielded to the temptation, after being asked to hold the purse for a moment. Her co-worker reported the matter once she discovered an envelope with $10,000 was missing from the purse, upon retrieving it.
Shaw was arrested, charged and strongly reprimanded by the RM Brown.
