Getting back the groove of working in a field she fell in love with first, Stacious won a major role in an AIDS awareness educational film and she says it may just be the beginning.

The star of the dancehall revealed recently that acting was actually her first love and scoring the part in this upcoming film being directed by Ras Kassa, is the start of something good, since Stacious feels she is being re-infected by the acting bug. During school days she won prizes for drama and is confident that this is one of her major talents.

With a release date scheduled to coincide with World AIDS Day, the short film is to remind people of the dangers associated with HIV/AIDS and Stacious said landing the part came after going through the regular audition process. She introduced herself as Stacey Scarlett and was just the best one for the part, since she was told the auditions stopped after hers.

This is a good diversion for Stacious, who at the moment is comfortable with considering more acting roles in the future.
