Stench leads neighbours to headless child's body
 A foul and pungent smell led neighbours in Belvedere, Red Hills to the gruesome discovery of an extremely decomposed, naked and headless body of a child believed to be Ananda Dean, the 11 year old who has been missing for about two weeks. Last seen on September 17 getting on a bus on the way to Half-Way-Tree from school, the Swallowfied All-Age School seventh grader was not positively identified and police say DNA tests will determine her identity.
As firefighters moved the body from overgrown bushes by a steep precipice along Cypress Drive, residents gathered and howls were heard when the heavily decomposed body appeared. Both the missing child's aunt and mother had trouble handling the news that this body could possibly be Ananda and they reportedly fainted.
What neighbours first thought could be a dead animal ended up being the body. Police say it may have been thrown from the precipice into the bushes where it was concealed. A pathologists was called to perform a post mortem of the body that appeared to have been raped; although the sexual abuse has not been confirmed by police yet.
The face of the missing Whitehall Avenue, Kingston resident had been splashed all over on fliers since she was last seen, resulting in many community members being in suspense while keeping an eye out.
It took firefighters three hours to remove the body and head that had become a skull.
Also found on the scene were other items like: a black size two school shoes and a navy blue uniform, that look similar to Ananda's school gear

Reading this almost made me cry because i dont know how someone could do that to someone else. That is just crazy.....my lil sister is the same age and i dont know what i would do if that was her much less the mother of the child...People need to clean up their act because they are only bringing down the country...

this is a real tragedy my condolenses to the family. an that good fo nothin m*ther f**ker who raped that poor child and then kill her i hope they cut off his dick bit by bit until nothin left and then have a bunch ah homos' rape you like how you raped that little girl. the guy who did this ain't come out ah woman he came out ah donkey cause only asses do them stupidness dey.

My condolencese goes out to her family. This is a very wicked act I would hope the government would use all their resources to catch the perp. Damn shame!
As for the nine months old baby, may God have mercy on his brother soul for doing this to a child.
Something is definitely wrong with these people.

Jamaican are watching too many African movies and are being influence by what they see. They have taken killing to a another level to do such a wicked act and I hope they do get caught and pay the price. As a mother my heart goes out the Ananda's mother and family. Time is a great healer. I'm sorry.

The reason why they doing this kind of sh.. is because the Government is sorry for the criminals and letting them stay in jail, and get fat off tax payers money. They need to pass a law for them to get HANGED and then they will think twice about killing someone else. Now where the hell they get this thing now of cutting off these children head, one in St.Mary last week and now one in Kingston is this a cult or what. These people have to be HANGED. Woow is this What jamaica has come to? I was planning to come for vacations and this just turn me off completely. My condolence to the family and for who ever did this may you never sleep until you face the same fate and i pray that your punishment will fit your actions well. Who ever did this i feel bad for you cause fyah will blaze pon you and youll never rest.

Condolences to the family of the young girl - may she rest in peace. It sent a shiver down my spine after reading article.The maniac that did this to such an innocent child should be disected when captured. 'It' cant be of sound mind - coz not even animals treat their own like how human beings treat each other. However, comments from people likeSandra White dont help - re "Jamaicans watch too many African movie" pure ignorance on your part. This type of slaughter happens in England/US - by white people - not Africans. You ignorant white heart b/iatch! No doubt your face mus bleach out and resemble monkey with arthritis!! this article brought tears to my eyes come on JA we have to do better than this n i agree with what someone said earlier about bringing back the death penalty these people need to pay for their wicked acts....n responding to what someone else said earlier ab not wanting to "live in JA because its crazy there..." one question is there any place in this world you will go and there is no violence...come on I live in America and it is just as bad as JA so dont try to insult Jamaica and Jamaican people..yes we have a few jackass out there but on a whole JA is a wonderful place.

has a mother of two i cant even imagine what the mother and family is going through,i have to be telling my 3 and 4 year olds about good touch and bad touch has time really changed.To the family especially the mother my deepest sympathy goes out to u,ur the 1 that bought her for all those months and to c someone take her like that, again my condolence
