Bolt to be featured guest on US talk show circuit
Four days following the highly anticipated Hart Hill Usain Bolt Homecoming event that is scheduled for September 20th at the William Knibb High School, the triple medal world record holder will be whisked off to the United States where he is in high demand within the talk show circuit.
The 22 year-old sprint master, nicknamed ‘Lightning Bolt’ – who made an amazing Olympic triple medal haul at the Beijing Games this summer is being sought by a series of high profile US television shows and has been confirmed to appear on a few of them, while requests keep pouring in from rival programmes.
Bolt’s manager, Norman Peart, who has mentored the track star since he was 15 years old, confirmed that he will be a guest on ‘The Late Show’ with David Letterman on September 24. This will be the first in a new series of appearances for Bolt, who until recently has been attracting audiences at mainly track and field meets.
Peart disclosed that Bolt’s other confirmed appearances include: ‘The Daily Show’ with Jon Stewart on September 25th and then the popular ‘Regis and Kelly Show’ on the 26th.
With no immediate plans to expand the management team, Peart explained that the same team that has been taking care of Bolt’s business since 2003 is capable and poised to continue working with him, even though new demands have unfolded following his amazing Olympic feats.
The world’s new double record holder is not intending on slowing down and he will be presented to billions of eager fans via US talk shows.

JUDY u r right his voice is kind of ruff and they better prep him for the GAY question because these talk show host seem like they have to ask Jamaican about what u think about Gays in your country? r how u feel about Gay people? So his people should run it by him to see what he is going to say and show him how to get around it so not to offend anyone

I agree with Judy and Wildbunch Chris. Additionally, instead of giving to charity from his income, I would like to see Mr. Bolt use a portion of his income to start his own not-for-profit organization. Raise funds through this org., then make donations from the funds he raise to charity...through his organization. Do signature fund raiser every year in adition to small ones.
Good luck!

Public speaking classes for Usain ? Are you guys serious ? His English was much clearer than many English language versed individuals. In fact, he sounds as if he's American more than Jamaican when he was doing his interviews in Beijing. Hopefully they stick to questions of an athletic nature as well as how personable & focus he was and has been. Don't want to see him have to answer for JA's crime rate, JA's homophobia, etc, etc.

Judy, Usain Bolt does not need any prepping on how to speak and if the "non-Jamaicans" like you stated, would take the time to listen to what he is saying then they would understand every word. To suggest that he needs to take public speaking classes sounds to me like an an insult. Mr Bolt has a Jamaican accent because he is a Jamaican man who does not need to camouflage his accent with a fake slang since he speaks English and yes, he does express himself very well. Because someone does not have some sort of fake slang people thing they're not speaking English, don't be fooled, that's not English.
For that matter, every single Jamaican winner was very articulate in the way they expressed their joy right on the spot during their post race interviews. Sorry to disappoint you but there were no patois-speaking interviews in Beijing.
