Mr. Vegas teams up with JayWill for “Round of Applause” video shoot

By: Jaide
Vegas High + High Energy_edit.jpg As the holiday season winds up Mr. Vegas is counting blessings, as his was a summer filled with extraordinary success. Far from being a stroke of luck, Mr.Vegas earned every triumphant minute that saw his songs soaring up charts while he remained in high demand for stage appearances.

Infectious and new, his dance tune “Round of Applause” came on the underground scene with a vengeance and is currently making serious waves. Response to the tune, that includes not only raving reviews, but also genuine crowd appreciation by dancehall fans, has inspired Mr. Vegas and his team to produce a “Round of Applause” video.

With the video shoot set for this coming month, Mr Vegas gave Yardflex a sneak peek into how he plans on merging his pulsating beats with movement and other captivating images. He said, "I have been anxiously anticipating the 'Round of Applause' video…I have joined forces with JayWil; [and now] we can give the fans just what they've been asking for."

Eminent video director JayWil, who is no stranger to the Vegas video set, has prepared a treatment for “Round of Applause” that has impressed Mr. Vegas’ manager immensely. JayWil has been responsible in the past for a number of Mr Vegas’ globally acclaimed clips including: videos for: “Hot Wuk,” “Tek Wey Yuhself” and “Daggering.”

Manager, Garfield “Chin” Bourne of Irish and Chin Inc., explained that, "JayWil and Mr. Vegas have a chemistry that I would never consider disturbing because the end product is always phenomenal. After reading Jay Wil's treatment, I have no doubt that this video will be something that will make an impact on the industry,"

“Round of Applause” will boast a backdrop located in the dancehall epicentre of Kingston, Jamaica and will feature premiere dance crews including High Energy; a group that has risen to fame after appearing in all Mr. Vegas’ videos and accompanying him on world tours. First class choreography coupled with the dancers’ impeccably executed moves will contrast well alongside the driving and amazing beats of “Round of Applause” that have been engineered by Mr. Vegas and Maestro.”

JayWil is confident that this will be the very best dance video he has produced and he plans to maximize Mr. Vegas’ ‘dance craze’ potential. "Mr. Vegas has a way with dance tunes," says JayWil. "I truly believe that an accompanying video will keep “Round of Applause” in the limelight and keep the fans dancing."
