Dr Dre Mourns Son’s Death
Another famous music industry affiliate has lost a son. This time the tragedy occurred in Los Angeles’ Woodland Hills where Andre Young, the 20 year old son of Dr. Dre was found dead at home.
Reports from Los Angeles say that Young had returned home around 5:30 AM yesterday; and his mom found him unresponsive upon trying to wake him at around 10:00 AM.
Chief Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office stated that Young’s mom called 911 at that time and the cause of death is unknown, pending a toxicology report.
Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young Sr. became famous with gangsta rap group N.W.A. and from there became co-owner of Death Row Records. The Grammy award winner is credited for the emergence of West Coast G-funk and currently runs Aftermath Entertainment.
