Yendi Phillipps as new host of Digicel Rising Stars
The new host of Digicel rising Stars, Yendi Phillipps said on Tuesday, August 12, that she is privileged to work with the rising talent of Jamaica. She especially enjoys bonding with the contestants, talking with them and getting to know them each as individuals.
She commented on the performances in Sunday's (August 10) show. She said that the eight finalists are finally listening to the judges and improving their performances, which were powerful enough to please the judges as well as the live audience.
About her stint as new host, Yendi said that she appreciates the advice and criticism that she has received. She, like the contestants, is adjusting and having fun, while allowing her personality to run free.
