Treasure relocates to Jamaica

treasure_aaron.jpgTreasure Aaron, also known as Treasure360 from the sound system 360 Ladies, recently relocated to Jamaica to build her entertainment empire in the Mecca of reggae music.

Treasure decided to return to Jamaica after heading the radio promotions and promotions department at Greensleeves Records for 8 years. After Greensleeves recent purchase by VP records in April 08 she opted not to pursue a career with the new owners. Instead making the decision to develop her own business with the expertise she picked up in her 8 years of hands on experience in promotions, guerrilla marketing and event production.

She is credited for working on US cross-over radio hit singles such as Elephant Man's "Log On", Vybz Kartel's "Tek Buddy" & "Picture This", Wayne Wonder's "No Letting Go", Macka Diamond's "Bun Him", Mavado's "Weh Dem a Do", Busy Signal's "Step Out" and Mr. Vegas's "Hot Wuk".

During her time at Greensleeves, Treasure always balanced multi tasking careers in music as a radio disc jock, sound system selector, and video jock. She has worked as a holiday guest host on WLIB and a personality on Irie Jam Radio in NY before co-producing her own radio program "The Ladies Night" with 360 Ladies on Wahhgwan Radio 95.9FM in NY. The "Ladies Night" (Fridays 10pm-12) was the Friday Night party hours for the ladies around the world as the program was simultaneously aired online via the stations website.

Treasure managed to balance all of this scheduling, while still travelling the globe with her sound system 360 Ladies and co hosting as a VJ on Dancehall World TV in NYC.

She isn't all talent and beauty. Treasure, a former regular beauty pageant contestant and winner, is all brains too! While pursuing her major, a degree in broadcasting and communications, and a minor in African studies she obtained a 4.0 in her studies.

Treasure says during her most stressful days, playing her sound and being a DJ has been the most rewarding. 360 recently made their 2nd appearance at Fully Loaded for a short but energetic set and the all female sound supplied the crowds stint of satisfaction. Relocating her sound system, is also part of the new venture of projects that Treasure has in store. Already joining the HYPE TV family as a presenter and producer, Treasure states that HYPE TV is just the beginning of her professional projects. She is currently the new A&R for an exclusive digital album production deal set to be released in 2009. She promises this project will be productively effective for all involved and promises to be one of her top priorities.

Her most recent accomplishment was when producers of the movie "Bashment- A Fork in the Road" casted her to appear as a supporting actress as Eve in the motion picture film "The Roaming Lion". She will be returning to NY this fall to make appearances in the promotion as the movie is being released on DVD after a sold out box office premier.

In weeks to come she will return to the United States to MC/ host events in NJ and CA, and continue to tour with 360 Ladies to NY, FL, VA and the Bahamas.

Treasure says she is excited and confidant about the move and about joining HYPE TV as their newest VJ.
