Eleven year old in-patient at Bustamante Hospital rapes six year old
It is alleged that an eleven year old boy, infected with HIV, raped a six year old girl while they were both patients at The Bustamante Hospital for Children.
In response to the allegations, the hospital referred the matter to CAMP Bustamante (Child Abuse Mitigation Project), and a report was filed with the Office of the Child Registry, which is standard procedure of the Child Care Protection Act 2004.
The police are investigating the incident with the support of hospital officials. The alleged victim has been examined by medical practitioners, while the law states that the boy cannot be charged for a criminal offense as he is under the age of 12.
