Toots, Sheryl Crow & James Blunt rock the US with 2008 Tour
Toots & the Maytals joined forces with Grammy winning artistes Sheryl Crow & James Blunt in Jones Beach, NY, Monday, July 28, to kick off the summer leg of his Do the Reggae World Tour. The four weeks tour, which includes several dates with Crow, moves across the US and finishes at the end of August. The sold out shows ended with Toots joining Sheryl on stage for a rocking version of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground" as the show encores.
No stranger to sharing the stage with major superstars and holding his own, the reggae icon has repeatedly toured with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews and Sheryl Crow. A favourite from college campuses to board rooms, Toots and the Maytals continue to attract new fans for reggae music, proving that good music never grows old.
