Morgan Heritage in demand from Montreal to Holland

By: Jaide

Morgan Heritage was pleasantly surprised recently as they were gloriously received in Den Haag, a city about 30 minutes outside of Amsterdam, by a crowd of around 325,000. That audience packed a North Holland venue for the show that featured rock star, Sheryl Crow and the reggae rocking Morgan Heritage.

"To Jah be the glory," a Morgan Heritage spokesperson said, "we were very happy to perform on the show." The intriguing aspect of this performance for Morgan Heritage was the amazing reception by not only patrons at the concert, but also radio audiences in The Netherlands whose appreciation for reggae thrust the tune, "Nothing to Smile About" at number one on a popular station there.

Morgan Heritage is on a roll, with their usual stellar sound and excellent musicianship. Having absolutely thrilled crowds in Canada just the weekend before at Montreal's Reggae Festival, they went on to one of the biggest concerts in Europe, forever basking in the sweet success that only talent and hard work can bring.

Along with their protégé, Irie Love, whose 7 song EP is due for release shortly, the powerful family pack continues to shine, bringing 'Rockaz' to the world.

The radio station, also a major sponsor of the huge show, usually focuses on pop music like, Rihanna and Chris Brown, but they had been inundated with requests for Morgan Heritage and would not see the mega-concert go on without them on the bill.

i'm glad morgan heritage is getting the recognition they deserve. they have a lot of discipline like the old school (kool and the gang & earth wind fire). their execution is flawless and their music has a very mellow distinct flavour that anyone can gravitate to no matter where they are from. most of all i like how they look like regular people. very humble and down to earth.
