Mr. Vegas Rocks Europe


Mr. Vegas Headshot 1_edit.JPGAfter a five year sabbatical from European tours Mr. Vegas exploded at all of the continents highly publicized Reggae music festivals this summer.

In an effort to make up for his five year hiatus, Mr. Vegas brought fans up to date with his anthology of hits by consistently delivering fiery performances, which left his management team flooded with calls for his next European tour.

Mr. Vegas said that he appreciates the support that his fans have given him over the years. "I have spent five years away and I really wanted to pay them back with unforgettable performances..." and that he did.

Sponsored by Media Com, the European tour spanned across ten cities. The tour ensemble included: Thugz Band, DJ Fatta and High Energy Dancers. The fans were thrilled by the choreography of the performances. The show incorporated DJ's along with the live band; DJ Fatta playing hits from top artistes while Thugz Band played Vegas' rhythms. The High Energy Dancers only increased the thrill.

Vegas was billed as the closing act for Summerjam in Cologne, Germany, performing after an impressive list of his colleagues; Queen Ifrica, Busy Signal and Cecile, just to name a few, which he did spectacularly.

After a rainstorm dampened the mood of patrons at the Rototom Sunsplash in Osoppo, Italy, Vegas managed to heat up the festival with a string of hits which had the crowd begging for more.

Vegas drove the crowd wild with his extraordinary performance at the Big Reggae Festival in Antibes, France. When he performed his hit "Mus Come a Road" with the French group Dub Inc., mixing the two languages, the crowd went ballistic.

Vegas' manager, Garfield 'Chin' Bourne of Irish and Chin Inc. said that "Mr. Vegas' performances in Europe exceeded my expectations." He also added that he "...thinks that Vegas understands the importance of giving quality, flawless shows...he definitely has mastered the live performance thing."

Vegas who got his big break in 1997 with hits "Heads High" and "Nike Air" will be preparing for his first African tour after which he will return to Europe to hit the UK.
