Etana: The Strong One
The album that everyone has been anticipating is finally here! Etana's latest album, "The Strong One" is released June 24, 2008. The album was already release digitally and will now be available in stores today. Everyone knows Etana for her conscious lyrics backed by her powerful voice.
The album features familiar as well as unfamiliar songs. These include: "Roots", "Warrior Love", "I am not Afraid" and "Wrong Address". The album has a little of everything; love songs, uplifting songs, inspiring songs - songs that everyone of all ages can listen to. The album is very relatable.
While listening to this album Etana's natural beauty, both internally and externally shines through. You can hear the passion that she has for music in her voice and that she really loves what she is doing. This is an album that the public should really go out and purchase.
Producers on this album include: Free Mind's Music, No Doubt Records, Big Yard Music Group, Purpose Publishing and Cannon Productions. Writers included C. James, S. McKenzie, O. Riley, S. Stanley, K. McGregor, L. Lewis just to name a few.

F'real.... her album definitely brings out her natural beauty both internally and externally.... For the past 3 days I've been playin and replayin that album... Exceptional work from a strong empress.

I like Etana's album but I find Cha'Maine's "Here's to Love" album more so or better than Etana's album with depth, passion, talent, skills, lyrical content, variety and texture. I am wishing her all the best but I am more into true talent/varied lyrical skills and I think Cha'Maine takes the cake with longevity and depth.
