natalie_storm_updates_08_edit.jpgBorn Natalie Cole in rural Jamaica, she moved to Kingston as a child. Natalie grew up listening to, and being influenced by the sounds of Motown, Madonna, and dancehall female artistes like Mumma Nancy, Lady Patra and Lady Saw. It was while a student at the Holy Childhood High School that she decided to make a career of music. After joining the Holy Childhood choir she successfully auditioned for the Cathy Levy Players.

While still in school, Natalie was approached by a producer seeking female singers for an all girl reggae group. The group was Make Boyz Cry(M.B.C). After a few years as group leader and an album released by the Toshiba-Emi label in Japan, Natalie decided in late 2006 to pursue an alternative course. She left the group and began to record material with some of the top producers in Jamaica and across the globe. These include, Swatch International, Flabba (MO’ Music), Ward 21, Jam 2, Seanizzle, Wildlife (Switzerland), Phlatline (Germany) and New York based Stretch Armstrong (who has produced for Nelly Feurtado, Lil' Kim, Wu Tang Clan).

From hardcore Passa Passa bashment tracks to global dance music, Natalie Storm delivers a variety of tracks like no other. Her first single on the Swatch International label titled "Best Friend" received strong radio play both locally and overseas. The video featuring Cesar got maximum exposure on HYPE TV, RE TV and Music Plus. This was followed by the hit single Talk Di Ting Dem also on the Swatch Label which became one of the most popular slangs in the dancehall. The video for Talk Di Ting Dem was also a smash hit and was constantly charted on HYPE TV's VTX Countdown.

The dance music remix of her Hot Love single featuring Jigsy from Danger Zone is being played at dance clubs all across Europe and North America. Natalie's most recent releases A Nuh My Fault on the Dem Gyal Sittin riddim, Gal Fi Get Boo on the Estrogen, and Body Good on the Creeper riddim are all getting featured both on radio and in the dancehall. She has just recorded two singles with Stephen McGregor for his Big Ship Label for release this Summer. Her brand new release on Ward 21's Tear Up Jeans riddim is currently becoming one of the most requested songs at dances and on radio.

Natalie has performed at numerous events islandwide including Spring Jam in Portland, Spring Break in Negril, Champions In Action as well as the HITZ 92 FM Evolution showcase. Natalie will also accompany Swatch International as one of their featured artists on selected Passa Passa dates throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe.
