I agree with a lot of what you said. Talent is a Gift and most of Mr. Bob Marleys sons Do not have that gift but they are able to make music with the Superb help of Bobs name. Bob was an excellent song writer, none of them come close to his skills becausr Bob was writing from his own perspective. He wrote in the 1st person. "Junior" Gong's lyrics were initially quite juvenile, they have improved somewhat but he and the others for the most part are making money off of the suffering of the masses without giving much back to Jamaica. They get where they we're going on the backs of poor black people and turn their backs on those same boor black people... If you are a black woman they don't even look your way. Grammys or American writers are not the ones who determine whether Reggae music is great or not. Reggae is based in Jamaica... it's Jamaican music and Jamaicans have a right and the expertise to determine what is great music. And many people over the years have disagreed with the Grammy's choice for Best Reggae Album.

Furthermore, everyone knows that Buju, Sizzla, Beenie, Bounty, Tanya Stephens, Lady Saw work 500 times more than the Marley boys and have 10 times times the talent but don't get a fraction of the recognition!
