Mavado gets bail, but show postponed
 The self proclaimed 'Gangsta For Life' Mavado was granted bail on Friday to the sum of $200,000 when he appeared in court to answer to two counts of shooting with intent and one count of illegal possession of a firearm.
Mavado, whose real name is David Brooks, was also required to submit his passport to the courts, which means that he will not be able to keep his commitment to perform at the Queen Park Oval in Trinidad tomorrow.
YardFlex understands that the promoter for the show has rescheduled for an April date.

Why do these 'artistes' brag about killing in their songs, but when they are charged with an offence like this they protest their innocence?
I rate terrorists more than these so called "gangsters"...at least terrorists will put their hands up and say yeah it was me, SO WHAT?

mavado,u a good singer.one ting mi a beg u do is sing more positive songs,you caint sing about cut the newborn throat and think its fun,its atmost rubbish,you have a good voice for positive songs once you start singing real stuff not gangster,i bet you the world will love you more,u a good youth but please low di gun tunes,more girl song,god songs,songs to uplift the heart mind and soul,please mi bredda a jus dat mi a beg u do,u say bounty a yu daddy,well my daddy was one a di baddest man i know,but i did,nt walk in his footstep,instead i think positive,so mi bredda more love,mi hope dem show you this comment,again i say you a good youth.

movado you are a very good artist you remind me of bounty in his prime but just like bounty you have to ease up on the gun tunes speak bout more reality and the struggle for black people go and more god tunes like the record you made weh sey im on the rock big tune dat but over all you are one of the realist artist out there hands down so keep up the good work brethren and stay out of trouble.
