Beres Hammond is very much alive
The rumors were circulating far and wide that reggae crooner Beresford Hammond passed away.
As far afield as England, Canada and the States, people were calling to find out if it was true.
At the Academy Awards we had to check with one of Beres' friends who assured, "he can't be dead, I just spoke with him!"
Honestly, we have to wonder, who really get these rumors going...and who's the next person will be on the list.
