Gregory Isaacs is a new man

gregory_isaacs.jpgGregory Isaacs, fondly known as "The Cool Ruler," is set to begin a five-week tour of North America in support of his latest album "Brand New Me." Throughout the tour he will be backed by the Live Wyya Band.

Isaacs will begin performances at the Ragamuffin Festival (formerly Bob Marley reggae festival) at the Long Beach Arena, California. He will then journey to New York City, Connecticut, Boston, Washington DC, Richmond Virginia, Raleigh North Carolina, before finishing in Philadelphia March 22 at North Bay Northwest theatre. He will then visit Canadian provinces including British Columbia.

'The Cool Ruler,' who is celebrating 35 years in the music business, will be promoting the new Mikey Bennett-produced single, titled, "Masterpiece."

Isaacs will be joined on the tour by Brazilian singer Soraia, who did a cover of Tarrus Riley's hit "She's Royal" in Portuguese and The K Queens, members of the Bounty Killer lead, Alliance.
