Alleged vicious Bishop discusses split with wife

Bishop Weeks and his estranged wife Evangelist Juanita Bynum are reported to have met behind a locked courtroom door, along with a group of attorneys, to discuss whether Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III, would agree to plead guilty in Fulton County Superior Court to felony charges for allegedly beating, stomping, choking and threatening to kill Bynum at an Atlanta hotel parking lot on August 21 last year.

They met for over five hours, according to a report from an article in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

After the meeting they are reported to have slipped out a back door. No one involved in the meeting would discuss details. The couple's divorce is pending in Gwinnett County Superior Court.

Bishop Weeks, a 40 year-old senior pastor of Duluth's Global Destiny
Church and its international ministries, still claims that he never harmed his wife.
