Anthony B riding success waves
Anthony B is set to shake up Grenada and Curacao this weekend after steaming up Trinidad during Carnival season. His smash hit "Tease Me" is also riding high, with its Ras Kassa directed video that has now been added to regular rotation on Tempo.
"Tease Me" rose to number one in Jamaica and while topping worldwide charts, does not overshadow Anthony B's decade of delivering some of reggae's most notable rootsy conscious nuggets.
"Fire Pon Rome," "Raid The Barn" and "Mr. Heartless" are some of the hits that thrust Anthony B in the ranks of top 20 reggae acts. Along with these tracks, "Tease me" was produced by Mario C for Trinity 7 Records.
He is set to release an adaptation of Rick Astley's 1987 hit, "Never Gonna Give You Up." Primed to become another smash hit, the song features dancehall artiste, Singer J.
Other recent recordings include: "Rolling Wid Mi Own Woman" and "Satisfaction," both on the Bonfire Label.
